Peter Palukaitis 教授，1981年获得University of Adelaide生物化学博士，先后在Cornell University 任副教授，教授。现任Head, Virology Department, S.C.R.I., Dundee, Scotland， Head, Pathology Division,  担任Virology，Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions，Journal of General Virology 和Virus Research等多个刊物的编委，已发表科学文章120多篇，综述文章，著作等20多篇、部。Peter是一位非常健谈的科学家。
