Acquisition Editor / Editor – Beijing Office

 

      

·        Reporting to Editor-in-Chief in HQ located in Singapore.

·        Coordinating with Subject Editors in HQ with acquisition projects.

·        Maintaining and developing collaborations with local publishers on co-publishing and translation rights.

·        Providing academic assistance on publishing activities to the Sales and Marketing team on developing the China market.

·        Responsible for achieving the project targets and anticipated growth in sales revenues.

 

Profile:

·        Academic degree.

·        Management ability, social skills and multi-cultural awareness.

·        Fluent in English and Chinese 

·        Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.

·        Strong analytical and computer skills

·        Organisational awareness

·        Publishing experience is preferred.
